You don't hold back! When it comes to personal matters, you probably have a hard time keeping your thoughts to yourself. You don't feel the need to cushion your words. Chances are that you believe that white lies just mislead others. Unfortunately, this type of blunt honesty can easily offend people. Honesty is a great policy, but sometimes censoring your words -- or choosing them carefully -- is a necessary and more-sensitive way to communicate.

While it is very beneficial to employ honesty in the workplace, it is also very important to keep in mind that the truth can be softened through the use of a thoughtful phrase. In any environment it is imperative to remember to choose your words carefully, especially when they have the potential to be offensive. In the workplace it might be beneficial to keep your harsh thoughts to yourself -- even if they are your true opinions -- and instead find a more sensitive way to communicate the message.

Honesty is a great policy when it comes to confessing your mistakes! You seem to recognize that if you don't admit your mistakes from the start, your dishonesty will most likely catch up with you! Telling the whole truth--and nothing but the truth--seems to be the most beneficial way of handling an accident situation. In general, people tend to respond better to this attitude because accidents do not stem from bad intentions. Your honesty and genuine concern can often counteract the fault itself.
